The picture above shows the apartment I rented with a friend in Los Coquitos. It is the middle balcony that can be seen in the picture. I lived there for 4 months and enjoyed it very much. The apartment was on the top floor and on the ground floor living the owner, an elderly widow.
It was about 10 minutes to walk to the playa by the Caribbean sea and after another walk of about 10 minutes on the playa I arrived at my best watering hole. The Boat House in Boca Chica.
The pictures show the salon and the kitchen. Unfortunately, I have no pictures of the two bedrooms. One bed room lacked air conditioning. The security was very good because the whole yard was surrounded by a high wall and locked gates facing the street. The apartment was also equipped with lockable iron gates and window grilles.
